A cylindrical metal fire blanket container with layers of original old red paint and gold George V cypher with King's crown above and the words 'TO BE USED IN CASE OF FIRE - ASBESTOS CLOTHS'. It has it's original hinges, catch and mounting bracket.
Circa 1920s.
