Georgian leather fire bucket.
A wonderful late Georgian hand-painted leather fire bucket. The hand-painted Pheonix crest with 'Caelum Non Animum' (Heaven Does Not Mind) above has the usual wear as expected of a well used item of this age. Some of the original stiching is missing from the rim which has been repaired over the years, the handle is well attached via it's two steel rings and leather tabs. There is a small hole to the base but the rest of the leather remains intact.
English, circa 1830
