An original vintage enamel advertising sign for Corona sparkling drinks & squashes.
This eye-catching mid-century sign has retained a good gloss to the enamel finish. The white lettering with yellow detail contrasts well with the rich blue background. It has the usual scuffs, marks and small patches of enamel loss as expected from an item of this age and material, but still displays well.
Corona was a brand of carbonated soft drinks, created by grocers William Thomas and William Evans. The company was founded in the 1880s, at it's peak it had 87 depots and factories across Britain. The company was sold to the Beecham Group in 1958 and then to Britvic before ceasing trading in the 1990s.
