A superb grocers shop display and storage tin for Patna Rice.

This wonderful hand painted and gilt decorated toleware grocers shop tin is in good usable condition. The original red paint has worn beautfully over years of use and the black and gilt decoration and lettering contrast and stand out well. The lid is original and fits well, there are the usual scuffs, marks a few dents and signs of surface rust as expected from an item of this age and material. This decorative tin would look great in a vintage kitchen setting or any kitchenalia collection.
